Here you find an overview of the studios and bands I am or have been involved in.

    If you’re interested in working with me I can advise you about which studio suits you best in atmosphere, equipment and budget. There are two studios in the Netherlands I really recommend and love to work with, but if you have your eye on a different studio, that’s negotiable too.

    Wedgeview Studios

    At the Conservatory Roeland Jacobs and Udo Pannekeet were my teachers. Together they own the Wedgeview Studios in Woerdense Verlaat, where I started doing sessions after graduating. There’s a cool collection of preamps (Neve and API), an extensive collection of microphones, a very atmospheric live room and a beautiful adjacent mix facility.
    Amongst the clients are Teus Nobel, Focus, Leif de Leeuw Band and Till Brönner.

    Trypoul Recording Studios

    After my studies at the Conservatory of Haarlem, I did an internship at the Trypoul Recording Studios in Neerkant. There’s an absolutely stunning collection of microphones, three of the best consoles ever made (2x Neve, 1x SSL), an extremely extensive collection of outboard gear and one of the best sounding live rooms in the Netherlands.
    Amongst the clients are Bløf, Delain, Di-rect, De Heideroosjes and Sloper to name a few.

    Skir

    Bass/backing vocals, 2018-present

    Skir is the new generation old school punkrock. In no-time they bring back their audience to the puberty with their 90’s and 00’s vibes. Their songs are catchy and recognisable. You’ll sing them along after the first chorus even if you’ve never heard them.

    The band consists of three schooled musicians from Leiden (NL) and surroundings, living their dreams in music for years.
    Since 2014 Skir really is an established name and today you’ll find them in the bigger venues.
    Are you almost in you midlife crisis and do you still listen to Green Day and blink-182? Then Skir is the way to go!

    Operation Hurricane

    Bass/backing vocals, 2016-2018

    In 2016 I co-founded heavy rock trio Operation Hurricane. We played around 40 shows. Most memorable were the shows in Paradiso (main hall), Bevrijdingspop Haarlem and two times Patronaat Haarlem. We joined the Haarlemse Pop Scene On Tour and won prizes for Best Bassist, Best Drummer and Best Band. In 2018 we released two singles: Fly and Mary Jane. Later that year I left the band and immediately joined Skir.
